Applying For A Small Business Loan

How to do it

Naturally, if you're asking for a loan from Thomas Arneway's bequest, we like to be sure that there is sound business logic behind your request. So we ask to see your business plan and to make sure that cash-flow to service and repay the loan is budgeted for. And – of course – because Thomas Arneway's objective was to help small business succeed, we need to judge the likelihood that your venture is going to become established and stay viable.

We make it easy. There's a simple form to fill in and return to us. You can download it from this page, call us on 020 7783 3533 or write to us at:

The Thomas Arneway Trust
BDB Pitmans LLP
50 Broadway

and we'll send the form to you.

When we receive your application, if the Trustees are happy for it to be considered further by the Charity then you will be asked to meet with a couple of the Trustees to run through any questions they may have. Your guarantors will also be asked to very briefly attend to ensure they understand their obligations. We'll then consider your application at the next Trustees' meeting, and if you are successful you will be invited to meet with us. That's all there is to it.
